author of the new book The Art and Science of the Hotel Concierge.
She is also the author of Neon Signs of Service and one of the top motivational

One of the ways I’ve expressed my commitment to hotel concierge training
and concierge education was to update my textbook on the concierge profession.
This commitment was reinforced in a deep and meaningful way during the
58th International Congress of Les Clefs d’Or held in Toronto, April 2011,
where I was privileged to launch my new book The Art and Science of the Hotel Concierge.
As I looked out over the crowd, I was struck by the fact that the room was
filled with young, fresh, passionate concierges representing countries
around the world. It was very exciting to me, as I realized that Marjorie
Silverman’s prediction expressed in the forward of my book was already
coming true:
